Respite Care Policy

Respite Care is available at Oak Wood Place for individuals seeking this type of care on a temporary basis. We will admit residents to our facility under Respite Care as follows:

Respite Care will be provided for a minimum of two (2) days and up to a maximum of 30 days. All individuals admitting to Oak Wood Place under Respite Care must have a Physician designated to oversee their medical care. Medications must be provided to Oak Wood Place at the time of admission. Any medications prescribed for the resident after admission must be provided by a local pharmacy designated by the resident at admission. Residents under Respite Care must have Emergency Contacts listed and available in case of emergency.

The rate for Respite Care is $90.00 per day. This rate covers supervision of medications, housekeeping and laundry services, and meal service of three meals a day plus snacks. Any other services will be charged for on an individual basis.
