From the East - Take State Highway 31 from Tyler going toward the West. Go past the Loop and continue into Athens. Go past Elder Dodge. Continue for about ¼ mile and take the first street to the right. There will be a convenience store at that corner and Athens Janitorial Supply. The street is Old Tyler Highway. If you go past Wal-Mart you went to far. Continue on Old Tyler Highway about 1/8th mile to the intersection with Wood Street and take a right. Oak Wood Place Assisted Living will be just to the left with a white fence around it.

From Downtown Athens - From downtown Athens and the Courthouse Square, go East toward Tyler on State Highway 31 (East Tyler Street). You will go out about 10 blocks and pass through several red lights. You will go past the Brookshire’s Grocery Store on left. Turn left at the next red light onto Wood Street. If you pass the McDonald’s you missed the turn. Go about ¼ mile north on Wood Street past the Cinema 4 theater and look for our huge Oak Wood Place Assisted Living entrance and sign just past the intersection of Wood Street and Old Tyler Highway.
